This is a large print at 40” x 40” and is a recent work from 2020. With thick, broad brush strokes and work with the palette knife, this painting carries an energy that is difficult to convey from just a photograph. In this piece I am trying to capture the light pouring through the park as it did this particular summer morning. Bryant Park is an oasis in the chaos of the city surrounding it.
